Nick
Nydegger

Founder, CEO

Nick is TargetMarket’s founder and CEO. Raised in Tampa, FL, Nick graduated from the University of Florida and afterward moved west to work in marketing for Fox in Los Angeles (Fun Fact: Nagatomi Plaza from Die Hard).

In 2007, longing to return to the East Coast, Nick relocated to Charleston to run a print and trade show marketing company. The economic turmoil of 2008-2009 forced a shift in marketing spending to digital, and in 2010 TargetMarket was born.

Over the past 13 years, Nick has worked to grow TargetMarket as a premier digital marketing agency in the Southeast. He enjoys running the agency but equally enjoys community involvement, serving on Rotary International and as a board member for the Summerville Family YMCA and trustee of Pinewood Preparatory School.

When not on the clock, Nick enjoys spending time on the golf course, listening to live music, or at home with his wife and two children.

Senior Paid Ads Manager

Ashley
Dority

Senior Paid Ads Manager

What interests Ashley the most about Digital Marketing is that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution; it’s a dynamic industry that’s constantly evolving and requires getting to know each client to build a tailored strategy. When Ashley graduated from Clemson University in 2015 with a B.S. in Marketing and Duke University in 2017 with a Masters of Management Studies, she first started her career as a Marketing Generalist at a mid-size agency in Boston, MA. Here, she learned the ins and outs of a variety of marketing tactics, but after 3.5 years, she realized that Paid Search, LinkedIn, and Paid Social are where she has the most interest because she can help clients not only create a strategy but also develop short-hand content. Joining the TargetMarket team as a Certified Paid Ad & SEO Specialist has been a dream come true because she can dive deeper into the paid side of marketing while helping clients on a daily basis.

When she isn’t reading up on the latest Google, LinkedIn, and Paid Social best practices, Ashley loves spending time with family in New England and SC, being on the water, watching Clemson football, cooking, and playing with her puppy.

Abbay
McCandless

Senior Account Manager

After completing an internship in content marketing and web design, Abbay knew that digital marketing was the career path for her. She graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in English in 2016 and was eager to find a career where she could put her writing and creativity to the test. Now having worked in digital marketing for four years, Abbay loves the fact that every day is truly unique, and each account requires personalized solutions. This is due to the dynamic nature of the digital world and the various industries she gets to work with.

Considering the culinary town that Charleston is, and the fact that her husband is a local chef, it’s not surprising that a significant amount of her free time is spent eating and trying new restaurants. To balance out the eating, you can also find her on the move with her two rescue dogs, Kirby and Pearl.

She has a passion for social media and watching a client’s goal become a reality.

Originally from CT, it was an easy decision to remain in the warm weather after graduation. When she’s out of the office, you can find her taking advantage of Charleston’s culinary and social scene with her friends, cheering on the New England Patriots, or binge-watching Netflix with her cat, Louie.

Junior Account Manager

Originally from Hampton, NH, Danielle aspired to move to Charleston since she was in high school. She graduated from Endicott College in 2021 with a B.S. in Marketing Communications and Advertising and a minor in Business Administration. After spending a year in her hometown post-grad, the opportunity presented itself to move south, and she took it and ran!

Joining the TargetMarket team has been a dream come true because working for an agency allows Danielle to do her two favorite things— learn and create! She believes writing is ever-gratifying because someone, somewhere, can read what she wrote and appreciates, connects, and resonates with the words before them.

In her downtime, you can find Danielle at the beach, the gym, or spending time with her friends and kitten, Evy.

James
Wilson

Director of Print Production

James is a Tennessee native who moved to Charleston in 2018 to join the TargetMarket team. He went to the University of Tennessee. During his time in school, he helped his father grow a printing company from the ground up, learning the ins and outs of design and production. Primarily focusing on screen printing apparel and then transitioning into embroidery and vinyl.

James is known for being a jack of all trades, having been raised under the mentality of “we can probably do that ourselves.”

Starting at TargetMarket, he began primarily creating trade show graphics and, with time, has expanded his capabilities to handle almost all aspects of traditional print. You’ll often find him wrapping a vehicle at our Summerville print warehouse.

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his wife and one-year-old son Oliver, working on a remodeling project, reading, playing the occasional round of valorant, or cooking with his masterchef wife.

Wrap Technician

Lindsey is a wrap technician for TargetMarket, she joined the team in 2021. She’s been working in the vinyl field for 8 years and loves what she does. She loves comedy and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Her dream project is to wrap an airplane or helicopter. While she loves large installs, she’ll also be found wrapping unconventional items like car rims, baseball bats, helmets, or pretty much anything vinyl will stick to.

She frequently says, “Friends don’t let friends paint cars, that’s what vinyl is for.”

On a day off, you will most likely find Lindsey at an improv show or home with her husband, Brian, and their three cats. You can always spot her car because it has a unicorn cat eating a donut on the hood.
