The Client

Kerri Devine is a writer, speaker, and the founder of Hot in Charleston, a bold, vibrant brand and storytelling platform redefining what it means to be a woman in midlife. With a voice that is both unapologetic and deeply human, she’s created a movement rooted in connection, community, and the power of sharing real, unfiltered stories. At the heart of Hot in Charleston is the belief that midlife isn’t a crisis, it’s an awakening. It’s about shedding expectations, rewriting your narrative, and showing up as your truest self. That ethos came to life in Midlife Monologues, a live storytelling event created by Kerri to amplify real women’s voices. Performed to sold-out audiences in Charleston and expanding nationally, Midlife Monologues combines vulnerability, humor, and truth in a way that’s both electric and healing.

The Goal

Kerri Devine initially partnered with our agency to establish a strong personal brand and digital presence with the launch of KerriDevine.com. The primary goals were to create a website that reflected her voice, supported her work as a speaker and writer, and provided a foundation for future brand growth. As her audience and offerings expanded, we continued supporting her portfolio of midlife-focused events, including Midlife Monologues and her most recent show, Pass The Mic For Perimenopause. For both shows, we delivered websites, merchandise, event signage, and print materials, creating a cohesive and elevated brand experience that evolves alongside Kerri’s mission and honors the women at the center of her work.

Website Design & Development

We designed and developed KerriDevine.com as the central hub for Kerri’s personal brand, showcasing her writing, promoting Hot in Charleston events, and highlighting press coverage. The site features dedicated event pages for Midlife Monologues and Pass The Mic For Perimenopause, allowing visitors to explore show details. Following the success of her personal site, Kerri partnered with us to create and launch Midlife-Monologues.com. The site was built to meet the logistical and promotional needs of the event, featuring integrated ticketing, performer profiles, program details, and sponsor highlights. With a strong emphasis on user experience and scalability, the site captures the energy of the live performance while offering a seamless way for visitors to learn, connect, and attend. Together, these websites established a cohesive digital presence that not only reflects Kerri’s brand but also supports its continued growth across platforms.

Event Materials

We designed and produced a wide range of branded event materials for Kerri’s shows, ensuring a cohesive and professional experience from start to finish. We designed and produced several branded signage elements for Midlife Monologues. This included a step-and-repeat backdrop showcasing key event sponsors, providing a polished setting for photo opportunities and media coverage. We also created a retractable banner to support on-site branding and wayfinding, ensuring a cohesive and professional look throughout the venue. For Midlife Monologues and Pass The Mic For Perimenopause, we designed event posters, postcards, and pre-show presentations featuring cast bios and photography, setting the tone and enhancing the audience experience from the moment they arrived. We also created the official program booklets, 40 pages for Midlife Monologues and 12 pages for Pass The Mic, to highlight the cast, sponsors, and show details in a cohesive, on-brand format.

Brand & Social Assets

We created a full suite of branded assets to elevate Kerri’s presence across digital platforms. This included social media posts, stories, and backgrounds for graphics. Additionally, we designed versatile graphics Kerri could use for ongoing social media promotion and other marketing materials, ensuring a consistent, recognizable brand experience across every touchpoint.

Merchandise & Store

We developed a line of custom merchandise to complement the events and extend the midlife brand beyond the stage. Our team presented several design options, with the final selection including a branded cup, journal, and tote bag, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the voice and energy of the shows. To make the merchandise accessible to a wider audience, we created an online store on KerriDevine.com and conducted a professional photoshoot of all items for use on the site, ensuring a polished and cohesive shopping experience.
